Dreams, Work, Success... and a Dash of the Divine: A Message from the Universe

Lately, I’ve been diving into a book called E²: Nine Do-It-Yourself Energy Experiments That Prove Your Thoughts Create Your Reality by Pam Grout. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a fun, light read that explores the idea that we live in a universe brimming with invisible energy—available to everyone—and all we need to do is tune in and participate.

Now, I’ll admit, I’ve always had a soft spot for intuition, synchronicities, repeating numbers, and cosmic nudges. Call them messages, signs, breadcrumbs from the universe—whatever your flavor—I’ve never felt steered wrong when I chose to listen.

The first experiment in the book is called The Dude Abides Principle: There is an Invisible Energy Force or Field of Infinite Possibilities. The premise? Simple. The hypothesis: If there is a 24/7 energy force equally available to everyone, I can access it by simply paying attention.

So I followed the directions: I asked this energy for a clear blessing—something unmistakable—within 48 hours. And then I waited.

Well, the 48-hour mark came and went… with no fireworks, no major “aha!” moment, no miracle check in the mail. Honestly? I was a little disappointed. But here’s where things get interesting…

This morning, as I was driving to work—still chewing on my "maybe nothing happened" verdict—I got hit with something I couldn’t ignore. The car directly in front of me had bold white letters scrawled across its back window that read: “Dreams – Work – Success”

And then, boom—my eyes landed on their license plate. The number 55 jumped out at me.

Now you know I sat up straighter. I was paying attention.

But the universe wasn’t done.

The light turned green, the car switched lanes, and guess who pulled in front of me next?

License plate: 7777.Yep. Right there, center stage.

Now, I don’t believe in coincidences. I believe in synchronicity. I believe the universe—or The Dude, as Pam affectionately calls this energy—knows how to speak our language.

And just to put you at ease—when I say “universe,” I personally think of that as God. Same loving energy, different name. Use whatever language feels right to you.

🔢 55 This number is the energy of change, personal growth, and freedom. In numerology, 5 is dynamic—it’s the number of action, adventure, and transformation. Seeing it doubled? That’s a cosmic megaphone: Get ready. Something is shifting. You’re entering a season of movement and momentum.

🎰 7777 Four sevens in a row? That’s no small whisper. 7777 is often associated with divine guidance, spiritual awakening, and validation. It’s a sign that you’re in flow with your higher purpose, and everything is unfolding exactly as it should.

So, what’s the takeaway?

Even when it seems like nothing’s happening... something is. The energy we tap into—the one that responds to intention, presence, and curiosity—doesn’t always show up like a lightning bolt. Sometimes, it speaks through license plates and bold words on the back of a dusty car.
